About this Blog

The Pinay Travelogue  is a lifestyle slash leisure slash travel blog which I decided to make to record all of the wonderful experiences we have living from our beautiful island Mindanao. I can't necessarily classify it solely as a travel blog since I don't really get to travel and explore a myriad of places as much as I would really like to. It is also a log and a diary of all the exciting places, restaurants, resorts etc.. etc.. Mr. OSG and I have ever experienced or have been to that we want to show our little girls Bea and Bianca someday.

Me, well... I’ve always had a strong love affair with the written word. Maybe it stems from me being able to express myself better in writing than I ever could do with the spoken word.  I’m not a very articulate speaker.  So it doesn’t come as a surprise that I only get to express my thoughts through writing and in this case – blogging. The Pinay Travelogue presented me with the proper medium to express this passion along with another great love of mine – traveling (well sort of).

A little fact about myself – I used to be a corporate slave from Manila, relocated to Polomolok, South Cotabato in Mindanao after falling in love with this often misconstrued and very controversial island. I am a very supportive wifey to a very busy businessman slash photographer slash wedding coordinator (hehe) who jumps from one project to another as fast as I can say smorgasbord and a doting mom to  hyperactive but very sweet little girls. Whew!

I  don’t get as much time to travel as I would have liked but I will try my best to take you with us in our journeys to sample not just new sights but palates of food and any other thing that takes our fancy.
