Pacman's Wild Card Gym

The "Pacman" has always been a national not to mention a local icon here at General Santos city. The Pacquiaos have always invested a lot of their earnings in the city, and one such investment is the opening of the 

Pacman Wild Card Gym.

On the way up to the Wild Card Gym, you will notice the usual fixtures of framed pictures of this highly regarded couple.

The gym is located on the 3rd floor of the newst JMP building right in front of SM city General Santos. 

There are a number of highly trained gym instructors waiting for all the gym's enrolled fitness buffs.   Kuya Nimrod (the one in white) is my gym instructor, he made me lift pounds and pounds of weight hehe. I just have to really work hard since he takes great effort in helping me lose all my unwanted fats. :) Aww.. he's going to hate being featured in my blog. hehe

Of course I can't fail to mention that Pacman's Wild Card Gym features a state of the art gym equipment. 

Its range of gym equipment is totally top of its class, even better than most gyms I've been to in the metro trust me. :)

This particular cardio Elliptimill is one of my favorite exercise machine, and its even more special because of the view you get from the gym's floor to ceiling glass windows. 

They have a wide range of wights, dumbells, and other exercise paraphernalia to keep even the most meticulous health and exercise buff really busy. Plus a number of television sets with cable around its posh air conditioned gym.

Of course, besides the gym, the Wild Card Gym, also offers boxing. Once in a while, when the Pacman is in the city, you might get to share this side of the gym with him while he trains a few of his right hook punches. 

The boxing gym is separated from the gym. It houses a boxing ring, and a number of punching bags of all shapes and sizes. :) 

It also has a boxing ring where you can practice your boxing skills. 

The boxing area also has a number of resident boxing instructors ready to assist health buffs enrolled in boxing. And trust me, you get your money's worth since they really make you work hard in all the drills they assign to each one in the gym.

Also, on the second floor of the JMP building also under the Pacman's Wild Card Gym is a huge hall where they conduct TRX, Zumba, Yoga and aerobics classes. 

Of course, this wouldn't be complete without the usual souvenir items from the Pacman store. So take your pick from t-shirts, caps and boxing mitts. 

Gym or boxing enrollment is at P1,500. You have the option to add P300 to be able to enroll in both boxing and the use of the gym facilities. They offer also the following fitness classes:

*Zumba 6:30-7:30PMs every Mon-Tue-Thu-Fri

*Yoga 6:30-7:30PM every Wed-Sat

*TRX 10:00-11:00AM and 2:00-3:00PM Mon-Sat

The gym is also open Sundays from 6AM till 12NN.
