Gwapaha Medical Spa. Cosmetic Medical Expertise In One Roof

My first time at Gwapaha Medical Spa, I have to admit I was a little bit intimidated. But the moment I walked in the spa, whatever misconceptions I had was slowly ebbing away as I was assisted by very gracious staff.  

The interiors of the spa also caught my attention since it has a really homey yet elegant feel to it. 

Of course being in the south, the use of the native cloth T'nalak was a nice touch to the interiors of the spa.

Gwapaha, in the local dialect means "most beautiful". The medical spa as it is named not only offers massage or facials common in most spas but offers the latest in international dermatology, cosmetic surgery and other aesthetic services. The medical spa is the brainchild of Dr. Teresita Ferrariz bringing to Gensan exceptional service from long years of education and experience earned in local and international trainings.

I was lucky that during the time I came to the spa, Dr. Tess was around for a consultation (and photo ops :).  This lovely dermatologist usually comes only for consultations every last week of the month but since Gwapaha has just opened, she opted to be around the medical spa for a longer time. 

The medical spa has the latest equipment in all of its treatment rooms.

I have yet to try a massage/body scrub/hand and feet treatments in this huge room, perfect even for a spa party with a few close girlfriends! :)

This spa room can be used also for a couple spa package. hmmm... something to try for my birthday! As you can see, the shower and bath are already accessible right after say a body scrub. No need to go to another room to do all of these.

 They also have a Bathing Ritual, a 2 hour 30min spa package that starts with a salt body scrub followed by a milk bath and ends with a Gwapaha Signature Massage.

Aside from their spa services (body scrubs, facials,massages, hand and feet treatments and  spa treatments for men --yes they have that too!), they also have the latest procedures:

• Intraeuticals Hyperbaric O2 Infusion - for anti-aging, brightening and wrinkle and line smoothing
• Platinum Peel - state of the art orbital microdermabrasion
• Fractionated Laser for Acne Scars and Skin Rejuvenation
• Endopeel - scarless chemical facelift and butt lift
• Eufoton Diode Laser for Endolifting -non surgical facelift
• Endovenous laser for large varicose veins
• Laser treatments for hair and tatoo removal and fat reduction

And what's good about it is, the prices for these treatments are really reasonable. Sorry, Dr. Tess did not allow me to publish her rates but all your misconceptions on the medical spa being way too expensive may be proven otherwise.
