Cinco Niñas Filipino Cuisine

Cinco Niñas Filipino Cuisine is a top notch restaurant located at Koronadal, South Cotabato. It is so named maybe due to the fact that the owners have five daughters who are entrepreneur extraordinaire in their own businesses.

The restaurant is the first of this class in Koronadal city accredited by the DTI. Its main restaurant interiors border on the cozy with a touch of elegance, utilizing natural materials probably to stay within their theme of native Filipiniana. They also have a total of eight (8) function halls, six of which are within the area of the restaurant and two are inside Paraiso Verde. So you have the choice of having small affairs here for 20-25 pax to as big as 300-450pax.

Of course this visit won't be complete without the mention of food. Cinco Niñas offer a wide range of Filipino dishes. I was told that their Pork Sisig, Crispy Pata as well as their Crabs (whether you like it sate, in garlic sauce, szechian) were their bestsellers. But for this particular visit, I was there merienda time so here are some of the food I tried...

First off is their Chilled Taho. It was my first time to try taho in this manner but I can say that it is very delectable. Perfect for a snack/merienda. A different twist to the hot taho we usually get from the local "magta-taho". :) Enjoy your taho here at Cinco Niñas, available all day for only P30/serving.

What's a Filipino merienda without Pancit Palabok? Readily one of my instant favorites since this dish is really delish! I love the sauce, not too salty or bland. As well as the toppings that go with it. Although quite a lot for a single person, you can actually share this since I was told their food (main course) per serving usually can sate the hunger of 3-4 pax. But the Palabok can be shared by two really ravished friends.

The Pizza Quesadillas is an offshoot menu from their Valentine's day promo. It was an instant hit from the moment they introduced it last February so its no wonder this remained a mainstay in their menu. For a measly P80/serving, get a fill of this beefy goodness which personally I would consider -  a complete meal in itself.

For drinks, they served a Caramel Macchiato an iced coffee concoction that was the perfect end to the sumptuous merienda feast I was lucky enough to gobble up. You'd be surprised that this restaurant is also a bar of sorts since they also serve sub-zero chilled beers, also a first for Koronadal city.

Cinco Niñas prides itself with the quality not only of the food they serve but quality of service. They also offer catering services with a variety of menu. They have a different menu for restaurant diners and a whole range of menu for their catered occasions.
